Simple Trouble Shooting:

  • Q: I do not understand how Bluetooth and WiFi works.
  • A: The trail camera is built-in Bluetooth and WiFi. Bluetooth is always on (Bluetooth is low power consumption) and WiFi is always off (WiFi is very power-consuming). The working principle is to connect the camera’s Bluetooth through the APP(Hunting Camera), the Bluetooth is to wake up the WiFi, after connecting to the camera’s WiFi successfully and then you can preview photos/videos, download/delete files and change settings on your phone.
  • Please note: The camera’s WiFi cannot be connected to home WiFi, which is equivalent to a hotspot, and the connection distance should be within 10m.
  • Q: Won’t connect to Bluetooth and WiFi.
  • A: Please download the correct APP(Hunting Camera), and refer to the WiFi connection steps as the picture above, or operate camera according to the page 13-15 in the user manual. Please be patient when you connect the camera with Bluetooth and WiFi, it will take 10~20 seconds to find camera WiFi on WiFi setting.
  • Q: Discharged set of batteries in 12 hours.
  • A: It is best to use brand new 8*1.5V alkaline AA LR6 batteries for a longer standby time. Since this high-level camera has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, it will consume more power than ordinary cameras when using WiFi and Bluetooth. In addition, if the camera works incorrectly and frequent triggering taking many empty photos at night, it also consumes battery power.
  • Please note: Before using the camera, set the camera properly refer to the user manual.
  • Q: Not sure what I need to do to get it to take the pictures automatically.
  • A: This camera has two modes, “SETUP” and “ON” mode. In “SETUP” mode, you can adjust the camera settings, you can manually take photos and videos. In the “ON” mode, the camera will be automatic monitoring. You can place the camera in a location where animals often appear. When the animal is detected to pass by the lens, the camera will be automatically triggered and work according to your settings.
