Sealed Low Voltage Fixture with Solid Cast Brass Top
The Lumen Logic Shielded In-Ground Light is a sealed in-ground fixture that includes an 5W LED MR16 bulb. This low voltage outdoor fixture includes a large brass shield that helps direct light and minimizes the glare produced by the lamp. It’s best used in high traffic areas where glare control is important.
- Socket is mounted on an adjustable gimbal, so the lamp angle can be adjusted
- Between the thick cast brass cap and in-ground canister is a thick rubber gasket for a watertight seal
- Lower portion of the fixture (canister) is completely sealed, which ensures that water cannot enter from the bottom of the fixture
- Round lead wire uses a waterproof pressure fitting to prevent water intrusion
LED Bulb Included
The included 5W (30W halogen equivalent) LED MR16 bulb produces 400 lumens of brightness with a 38-degree beam spread and a warm white 2700K color temperature, which is our most popular. Utilizing the latest in LED technology from Cree, this bulb is rated for over 40,000 hours of use. These bulbs also feature a conformal coating that protects the internal electronic components from moisture, the most common source of failure for outdoor bulbs. Additionally, these bulbs are single-source, which means they use only one powerful LED chip to create all of the light. This results in more consistent and evenly distributed light compared to multi-source bulbs.
